New Year, New Fun
The new year has brought lots of fun for Andrew. He's learned how to slide all by himself (he's very independent!). He spends a lot of time reading to himself too. He loves to give hugs, and gives them often! He spends a lot of times building things with his blocks.
A lot of the time when I sit down, he brings me a blanket so I won't get cold. And if he catches me without my bedroom slippers, he's quick to put them back on for me.
Andrew laughs a lot and makes lots of funny expressions. And he's learning to make several new sounds with his mouth.
He's a good eater, most of the time. He loves oatmeal for breakfast. Peanut butter sandwiches are one of his favorites. He still loves spaghetti. He still hates green beans.
He loves to take a bath and brush his teeth. He's not too big on having his nails cut.
He climbed out of his crib twice last month but, thankfully, has decided that's just too much trouble. He sleeps 10 hours every night and takes a two hour nap every afternoon (most of the time!).
Here are a few pictures we've taken the last several weeks...
Andrew's Grandpa and Grandma Hoffart went to China last November and bought Andrew these adorable pajamas.
Andrew loves to climb.
And he really loves to slide.
Andrew is a lot of help unloading the dishwasher.
But sometimes he has to take a break.
And before long, Andrew will be ready to cook (and as you can tell, he's already mastered arranging his fingerprints all over the oven door).
